The inspriation for Southern Legacy began one Valentine's day when the quest for a unique special gift started. I decided I wanted to frame a picture of us, but I wanted to make it personalized. Previously I had made frames with sea shells, but I knew my beau would not want sea shells. Therefore I decided to change the kind of "shells" I was using. It was perfect. Shooting together and with our friends was a big hobby of ours, which made the idea even more special. On Valentine's day I gifted the frame with the new kind of "shells" and he loved it. He showed it to his friends who then immediately asked for their own. I made the frames as "presents" for my friends and even made the frames for them to give as gifts. I though if all my friends and family loved the frames, why wouldn't other people? This is when Southern Legacy was born.
